Lecture by Prof. Theodora Duka, University of Sussex
Prof. Theodora Duka of the University of Sussex will give a lecture on Thursday 23rd April at 4pm in Theatre 11 in the Lloyd Building titled "The impact of repeated ethanol exposure on cognitive and emotional competence: Evidence from alcoholic patients and binge drinkers."

Joint Research Seminar
The School of Social Work and Social Policy and the School of Psychology will be holding a Joint Methodology Seminar on 6th May 2009 at 1pm in RM 3080 in the Arts Building.
Professor John W Berry (Queen's University, Ontario) will be presenting a paper entitled; "Issues and challenges in large scale multinational and quantitative research".
Professor John W. Berry (PhD., University of Edinburgh) is Professor Emeritus of Psychology at Queen's University, Canada. He received Honorary Doctorates from the University of Athens, and the Université de Geneve in 2001. He has published over 30 books in the areas of cross-cultural, social and cognitive psychology. He is a Fellow of the Canadian Psychological Association, the Netherlands Institute for Advanced Study, the International Association for Cross-Cultural Psychology, and the International Academy for Intercultural Research. His main research interests are in the areas of acculturation and intercultural relations, with an emphasis on applications to immigration, multicultural, educational and health policy.
31st Annual Psychology Student Congress
This year's 31st Annual Psychology Student Congress will be hosted by Trinity's Psychological Society (PsychSoc) on the 17th and 18th of April. Undergraduate and postgraduate students are invited to give either an oral or poster presentation of their research. The deadline for submission of registration forms is Friday the 13th of March (Thursday the 12th of March for TCD students).
