School of Psychology involved in RISK LAB, Science Gallery
The School of Psychology has contributed experiments to the current RISK LAB exhibition in the Science Gallery. As part of the Science Gallery's LAB IN THE GALLERY series, RISK LAB examines the psychology and mathematics underpinning the risks that surround every aspect of our lives. The experiments were designed by academic staff, David Hevey, Michael Gormley, Sam Cromie and Ruth Byrne, along with PhD students, Ewan Douglas, Louise Hopper, Georgia O'Callaghan, Mary Parkinson and Margaret Ryan. They examine hazard detection, risky driving, impulsivity, risky moral decision-making and risky consequences. RISK LAB runs from 2nd May to 23rd June 2013.
